Design Trends for 2013

Brass, bright colors, glossy surfaces, art and antique furniture are some of the hot design trends for 2013.
Designers and stylists will be looking to these trends to create their designs, but so can you.
Over the next few days we're going to take a look at 8 of the hot decor and design trends of 2013, and show you some items to get you inspired.
Heavy Metal: Brass and Bronze
Brass is making a comeback as designers look to the '70s for inspiration. Jonathan Adler, Kelly Wearstler, Ralph Lauren, and other top designers, are all stylin' with brass.
Iconic designers like Carl Aubock are also seeing a resurgence in their mid-century brass and bronze works.
DwellStudio has really called on the '70s muse with their Folded Brass Wall Decor.
Right in line with 2013s hot decorating style - Brass - we have these elegant, Hollywood Regency style, brass shell bookends. Heavy, and sturdy, these bookends have anti-scratch, anti-slip, padding on the bottoms.
Will a pair of bright brass bookends draw attention to your book collection? Of course! And why wouldn't you want to? Your books say something about you, and your passions. Display them, and yourself, boldly and proudly.
